On behalf of our client, we are looking for a progressive Herd Manager, for their family owned farm 10 minutes outside of Ashburton.

This position would suit someone who has at least two year's dairy experience and is looking to progress into a management position. They will show leadership skills, have good time management skills and a good understanding of farming in a pasture based system.

The farm is milking 700 cows through a 54 bale rotary.

• A full driver's licence is required.

• No criminal convictions, and can pass a pre-employment drug test.

• The position comes with a 3 bedroom house.

• Good communication skills a must.

• NZ citizen or valid work visa.

We are looking for a progressive individual who can support the Farm Manager, work unsupervised and display initiative.
