On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced dairy assistant with a desire to succeed in the dairy industry.

The farm milks 800 cows through a 40 Aside Herringbone and run a split shift system ensuring staff do not spend too much time in the cowshed. The farm is very tidy, easily managed, with a centrally located cowshed, and brand new housing. 

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years New Zealand dairying experience, has good communication, pasture management, animal health and husbandry and good tractor skills.

We are looking for a progressive individual who can support the farm manager, work unsupervised and displays initiative.

The farm is a drug and smoke free environment and may require pre-employment drug testing. The applicant must have no criminal convictions.

Driver's license and own transport are required.

A new 3 bedroom house is provided. No pets allowed.
