ur client, a farm owner near Ashburton is looking for a farm assistant to join his team of 4 on this 350 ha property milking 950 at peak.

This is a fabulous shed to work in with a MilkHub system with means the shed has inline milk sensors, cow data screens, auto teat spray and cup removers.  The walk over weigh scale and heat detection camera complete this system.

This farm assistant will be taught and encouraged to drive the tractor to feed out, mow/top and roll as well as a telehandler.

The accommodation is flexible, depending on if you have a family, the accommodation can be shared or not. Power is supplied.

A valid driver’s license is a must.  Must be prepared to undergo a drug test if asked.

This is a great starting position for someone who wants to grow their skills and climb the ladder to the next role.  The farmer is proactive in encouraging on farm and off farm training.
