Two positions are availble for motivated farm assistants for a contract milker in mid canterbury.  

The farm is 272ha with 1150 cows calving down this coming season.  The shed is a near new 50 bale rotary with inshed feeding, milk sensors, protrack and a heat detection camera.

Tractor skills are a bonus not required. Safe and responsable handling of 2 wheelers and experience milking and putting up break fences an advantage.

There are 4 staff working on this farm meaning the hours are very good with a 6/2 roster.

The farm assistants share accomodation in a tidy house that has both a heatpump and fireplace.

We are looking for a person who has a desire to progress in the dairy industry. A background in farming would be desirable.

Together with our client, we will support you in your career development and training, including on farm training and off farm formal training.

Driver’s licence and own vehicle is required.
