Our client are sharemilkers near the mid canterbury foothills who are looking for a Farm Assistant to round out the team of 5.

They have a strong team and are more than happy to teach and support.

The farm is a 262 ha milking platform plus run off which totals 400ha all up milking 950 cows at peak.
Farm is irrigated by pivots and a roto rainer
The farm has a modern 60 bale rotary which is fully auto with cell sensors, milk meters, auto removers/spray and protrack.

Your role in the team would be the tractor and maintenance person on farm, do you like getting suck in doing repairs and maintenance? As well as being part of the team doing the main tasks on farm such as milking, shifting fences ect.
They offer a 6/2 roster
Shared accommodation is available. Its large with a heat pump plus double glazing.

Having your drivers licence and car is a must as well as being able to undergo, if asked, a drug test.
