Our client is looking for a Farm Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large scale operation and learn while being fully supported with a great package and a 8/2 8/3 roster. 

We are looking for a person who has a desire to progress in the dairy industry. A background in farming would be desirable.

The dairy assistant position involves milking, bringing in cows for milking, assisting with animal health, mating and calving. Also setting up and taking down temporary electric fences, completing general maintenance, weed control and other duties as directed.  

The farm is 220 ha milking 900 cows at peak.

Shared accommodation. Heat pump to warm it up.

The farm is a drug and smoke free environment and we may undertake random drug testing from time to time.
Driver’s licence and own vehicle is required.
