Our clients are looking for a Farm Junior who is looking for a long-term job where they will be trained and gain the experience to move through the ranks to herd manager.

Being part of a large operation and working with a multicultural team you will be involved with the day to day duties of milking 1800 cows through an 80 bale rotary on 410ha which is a 10-minute drive from Ashburton. The cowshed is equipped with all the mod cons such as in shed feeding and weigh scales

If you can demonstrate your passion for the dairy industry in your application for this amazing role you can expect a great working environment and opportunity to train and grow your skills.

The dairy assistant position involves milking, bringing in cows for milking, assisting with animal health. Also setting up and taking down temporary electric fences, completing general maintenance, weed control and other duties as directed.

The farm is a drug and smoke-free environment and we may undertake random drug testing from time to time.

Driver’s licence and own vehicle is required.
