What we need
Our clients are looking for a Farm Assistant who is looking for a long-term job.
Be part of a large operation and working within a team of 4 on a very tidy farm. You will be involved with the day to day duties of milking 1300 cows through a brand new 80 bale rotary on 300ha near Hinds.
If you can demonstrate your passion for the dairy industry in your application for this amazing role you can expect a great working environment and opportunity to train and grow your skills.
The position involves milking, taking charge of tractor work, bringing in cows for milking, assisting with animal health. Also setting up and taking down temporary electric fences, completing general maintenance, weed control and other duties as directed.
8 and a half days on 2 and a half-day off roster.
Shared accommodation.
The farm is a drug and smoke-free environment and we may undertake random drug testing from time to time.
