What we need

We are currently seeking a Dairy Assistant to be part of our fun team where respect and trust is foremost. The culture on-farm is team-spirited milking 710 cows through a modern 60 bale rotary with ACR and in shed feeding cowshed. Average hours are 50/week and roster is 7:2, 7:2, 7:3.

Remuneration is by negotiation and accommodation available.

Duties include milking, bringing in cows for milking, assisting with animal health, mating and calving. Setting up and taking down temporary electric fences, , assisting with irrigation, weed control and general farm and machinery maintenance.

Experience is preferred although not essential. A background in farming would be desirable.
