Our farms are highly efficient,  support training and development and have the highest standard of employment conditions.

Farms are located in Mid Canterbury and range from 600 – 1800 cows with varying rosters and accommodation available .

The dairy assistant positions involve milking, bringing in cows for milking, assisting with

animal health, mating and calving,  setting up and taking down electric fences and

general farm tasks.

 

Driver’s license and own vehicle is required, and you must be able to pass a drug test.

What we need

We are currently seeking a Dairy Assistant who has a desire to progress in the dairy industry. This is a farm [TM1]  located in “Mid Canterbury

The farm is milking 650 through a 60 Bale Rotary cowshed. Average hours is 50/week. Remuneration is by negotiation.[TM2] 

Duties include milking, bringing in cows for milking, assisting with animal health, mating and calving. Setting up and taking down temporary electric fences, ,assisting with irrigation, weed control and general farm and machinery maintenance.[TM3] 

Experience is preferred although not essential. A background in farming would be desirable.
