What we need
We are currently seeking a Dairy Assistant for our progressive farm, if you have the right attitude, we can teach you. This is a large Family farm located near Mayfeild with an immediate start.
The farm is 375 ha milking 1300 cows through a modern 80 bale rotary cowshed. Roster is 6 days on / 2 days off through calving and then 7 days on 3 off. Remuneration is by negotiation.
Duties include milking, bringing in cows for milking, assisting with animal health, mating and calving. Setting up and taking down temporary electric fences, assisting with irrigation, weed control and general farm and machinery maintenance.
