We are seeking a Dairy Assistant on a farm is based in Mid Canterbury milking 900 cows in a modern rotary shed with modern accommodation available. Flexible roster to suit the right applicant with a starting salary of $50,000 + accommodation.
Duties include milking, bringing in cows for milking, assisting with animal health, mating and calving. Setting up and taking down temporary electric fences, assisting with irrigation, weed control and general farm and machinery maintenance.
