What we need

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a motivated, honest and reliable dairy assistant to join their friendly team for an immediate start. Based in the Taupo region which is distinguished by its lakes, outdoor sports, hot springs volcanic caldera, dramatic, crystal-blue cascades and reachable hiking and biking trails. What better region to start your career in. 

285ha farm milking 800 cows through a 54-bale rotary with 4 staff. This is a golden opportunity for someone starting in the industry to be able to work closely with the team and be well trained to begin their dairy career. The roster is 11/3 and accommodation is shared with one other person.

Duties include milking, bringing in cows for milking,  break fences,  rolling, weed spraying. plate metering with farms walks every week.  our client is passionate about teaching new employees everything they need to learn and they will have involvement in herd testing, pregnancy testing, pasture walks etc.

A good attitude and work ethic is essential.
