What we need

We are looking for a dairy assistant to start immediately on a farm only 5 minutes south from Ashburton.  Great location and great roster on 6 on 2 off. Milking 620 cows through a 54-bail rotary.

This farm has been certified as a “Lead with Pride” farm for 4 years which mean this farm is internationally accredited and demonstrates industry leadership in food safety and sustainability and is recognised as a genuine leader in the industry.

Salary is by negotiation and comes with a fully furnished single person cottage.

Duties include milking assisting with animal health, mating and calving. Setting up and taking down temporary electric fences, weed control and general farm and machinery maintenance.

Essential Requirements

• Pass a drug test

• Current license
