Our client is leading this new and exciting industry in Canterbury.

This is a drive-in position based at Kirwee, just 30 minutes from Christchurch. Currently milking 600 East Friesian’s and running as "a hybrid system", with all lambs, including the males, reared on farm and being finished on automatic lamb feeders.

Along with milking, lambing, lamb rearing, tasks will also include general farm duties.

What you need

• Prior experience in a milking shed (bovine or ovine)
• Great attitude
• Highly reliable and have great communication skills
• Strong adherence to workplace health and safety practices
• An understanding of the importance of Animal welfare
