Our clients are hands on Contract Milkers currently looking for a herd manager and a dairy assistnt to join their team  at TePirita. Farm is a 6 year old conversion with fantastic modern infrastructure, mostly new and well-maintained plant and equipment.

Six year old modern stand alone homes for staff.

Milking 930 x-bred cows through a 60 bale rotary with ACRs and Protrack. The farm is mainly irrigated by pivot with K-line and sprinklers on the fringes of the farm.

The job will involve milking, breaks, weed control, effluent management, feeding out, shifting irrigation, fencing, calf rearing and assisting in any capital projects that may be happening.

The successful Candidates needs to been honest, reliable and be motivated to come to work. Must be physically fit to preform duties required. Have a full driver’s license or be working towards that.

Must be able to pass a pre employment drug test and a criminal background check.
 

On and off farm training will be provided.
